No Limits
Paul didn’t faint when afflictions came. He didn’t falter. He didn’t retreat. Despite all he suffered, Paul viewed these things as “light.” I wonder what he would call heavy? We think we are under heavy attack when someone looks at us the wrong way.
The reason Paul knew no defeats is because he kept his focus on the glory. He said our trials work for us as long as our focus is on what is eternal — the glory — instead of temporal issues. If you want your problems to work for you, get your eyes off of your circumstance and get them on the eternal. Focus on the glory!
At the end of his life, Paul declared:
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day… (2 Timothy 4:7-8)
In spite of all the things Paul suffered, He finished his course. He kept the faith. He fulfilled his destiny. He was not defeated. He went out with a victory shout: “I have kept the faith!”
If you earnestly seek for this manifestation of God’s glory, you will find it. Jesus promised:
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. (Matthew 7:7-8)
God declared:
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from Heaven… (2 Chronicles 7:14)
The life that God wants to operate in and through you will take you beyond the boundaries of your natural desires and experiences. It will move you out of your comfort zone. There will be no limits to the work of God in and through you. No horizons. No boundaries.
Your circumstances may be difficult. There may be darkness all around you. But the Word of the Lord to you today is:
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee. (Isaiah 60:1-2)
Make this declaration:
I will arise and shine because the glory of God is risen upon me.
