Journey Into The Promised Land

Isaiah 55:8–13 (CSB)

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,

and your ways are not my ways.”

This is the Lord’s declaration.

“For as heaven is higher than earth,

so my ways are higher than your ways,

and my thoughts than your thoughts.

10 For just as rain and snow fall from heaven

and do not return there

without saturating the earth

and making it germinate and sprout,

and providing seed to sow

and food to eat,

11 so my word that comes from my mouth

will not return to me empty,

but it will accomplish what I please

and will prosper in what I send it to do.”

12 You will indeed go out with joy

and be peacefully guided;

the mountains and the hills will break into singing before you,

and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.

13 Instead of the thornbush, a cypress will come up,

and instead of the brier, a myrtle will come up;

this will stand as a monument for the Lord,

an everlasting sign that will not be destroyed.

Winning The War For Your Finances

As you wait for your financial harvest, you must realize that God has divine purposes in the waiting period — even though you may not understand the delay:

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. (Isaiah 55:8-13)

While waiting for your financial harvest to mature, don’t doubt. Don’t criticize. Don’t give up. Have faith! God’s Word will be fulfilled just as He promised!

While you are waiting, refuse to sin with your mouth. Your enemy reacts to your words. There is tremendous power in words:

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. (Proverbs 18:21)

If you feed on doubt and unbelief, you energize Satan. Don’t speak words that encourage your enemy because…

…by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. (Matthew 12:37 )

Instead of grumbling and complaining while you wait, praise God for the harvest you are going to reap:

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

If you are faithful, God has promised you will reap your harvest.

Winning the war for your finances — as in any area of life — involves more than one battle. You may have ups and downs during this battle, but remember…

The Lord upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down. (Psalm 145:14)

Never give up. Keep getting up again, and again, and again.

You can make no plans for retreat. You can only advance. Your miracle is on its way!

Make this declaration:

I have no plans for retreat. I can only advance. I will never give up.
