Putting The Enemy Under Your Feet

Journey Into The Promised Land

Romans 8:35–39 (CSB)

35 Who can separate us from the love of Christ? Can affliction or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:

Because of you

we are being put to death all day long;

we are counted as sheep to be slaughtered.,

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Spoils Of War

Paul told the Romans:

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? … Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:35, 37-39)

We are set free from a fear of death…set free from a fear of persecution…set free from a fear of calamity…set free from a fear of want…set free from a fear of hunger…set free from a fear of sickness … set free from a fear of danger…set free from a fear of things to come…set free from a fear of Satan and his principalities…we are set free from all bondage to fear.

God has planned us as soldiers in His end-time army to be bold and fearless as we march forward through the nations of the world, pursuing the enemy, and tearing down his strongholds in a manifestation of His power. God expects us today to boldly and fearlessly wage war against Satan and his principalities. Regardless of what strategies he may use to oppose, hinder and stop us — regardless of the dangers, the persecution, afflictions, or suffering we may face in fulfilling the will of God — we must not be weak or cowardly. We must cast off the spirit of fear and march forward, knowing God will deliver our enemies into our hands and give us the victory.

God has set us free from fear. He has given us dunamis power to boldly proclaim God’s Word in a demonstration of power to the world. He has given us powerful weapons that enable us to demolish Satan’s strongholds. He has given us His spiritual armor that makes us invulnerable and invincible.

What is holding back the army of the living God in the United States, Canada, Britain, Europe, the Philippines, Trinidad, Indonesia, Africa, Malaysia, Mexico, India and the other nations of the earth, from moving out in God’s power to take their villages, cities and nations for God? Christ has already won the victory. He has destroyed the works of the devil. He has conquered Satan and his principalities, stripped him of his power over us, and given us power over all the power of the enemy. It is time that we boldly claim the victory, put our feet down on the necks of all our enemies, and take the spoils of war!

Make this declaration:

I am putting my foot on the necks of my enemies and taking the spoils of war that are rightfully mine.
