Overcoming Obstacles

Journey Into The Promised Land

Acts 10:34–43 (CSB)

GOOD NEWS FOR GENTILES

34 Peter began to speak: “Now I truly understand that God doesn’t show favoritism, 35 but in every nation the person who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him. 36 He sent the message to the Israelites, proclaiming the good news of peace through Jesus Christ—he is Lord of all. 37 You know the events that took place throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee after the baptism that John preached: 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how he went about doing good and healing all who were under the tyranny of the devil, because God was with him. 39 We ourselves are witnesses of everything he did in both the Judean country and in Jerusalem, and yet they killed him by hanging him on a tree. 40 God raised up this man on the third day and caused him to be seen, 41 not by all the people, but by us whom God appointed as witnesses, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead. 42 He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one appointed by God to be the judge of the living and the dead. 43 All the prophets testify about him that through his name everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins.”

Take The Mask Off

Jesus came to earth for a specific purpose: “…For this purpose was the son of God manifested to destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8). God anointed Jesus with the Holy Ghost and power and He “…went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with him” (Acts 10:38).

Jesus came to set people free, heal the sick, cleanse the leper, and cast out devils but their unbelief limited what He could do. It shut off the people from the flow of the manifestation of God’s miraculous power that multitudes had experienced in the other cities.

Within the Church today we are seeing a mighty manifestation of God’s power being released. In our crusades and meetings we are seeing people with cancer and all forms of diseases being healed. Men and women are being delivered and set free from years of addiction to drugs and alcohol. Multiplied thousands are being saved. In every meeting there are hundreds who are receiving a fresh anointing of God’s power being released in their lives to work the works of God. But, what grieves my heart is that in the midst of this great outpouring, there are many Christians who have limited God’s power to work on their behalf and have shut off the flow of God’s miracle-working power in their lives through their unbelief.

The power of God has not changed. It is the same today as it was when Jesus walked upon this earth two thousand years ago. God is ready to meet the needs of His people. He is ready to meet whatever need you may be facing today. He is ready to fulfill His promises to you, but He is limited through your unbelief.

God has directed me over the next few days to lead you on a march to tear down the wall of unbelief. God has said, “Now is your time!” The time has come for you to destroy the wall of unbelief preventing you from entering into the full manifestation of God’s power and activating the supernatural faith of God to take hold of His promises!

To tear down the wall of unbelief you must be willing to humble yourself. Don’t allow pride to hinder you from acknowledging any unbelief which may have entered your heart. As we begin this march, you must allow God to reveal any areas of unbelief in your life, repent, and get rid of it. It is time to take the mask off!

Make this declaration:

I am receiving the word of God’s prophet: Now is my time! I am tearing down the wall of unbelief.
